If you can't measure it, you can't manage it!
A Performance Management System consists of a number of interconnected formal and informational based processes that helps schools focus on answering these fundamental questions:
- Where is the school going? What is its purpose?
- What does the school need to do well in order to succeed?
- How does the school set goals to get to where it's going?
- What processes is the school going to use to get there?
- How does the school "measure" how well it is performing relative to its goals and objectives?
