A Performance Management System consists of a number of interconnected formal and informational based processes that helps schools focus on answering these fundamental questions:

  1. Where is the school going? What is its purpose?
  2. What does the school need to do well in order to succeed?
  3. How does the school set goals to get to where it's going?
  4. What processes is the school going to use to get there?
  5. How does the school "measure" how well it is performing relative to its goals and objectives?
  6. How do the governing council and administrative team evaluate and utilize the performance data for continual improvement?
