Job Description:

Horizon Academy West is a public state charter school providing a rigorous curriculum four days a week. Average of 154 Days per Academic Calendar 

Position Description:   As a member of the Administrative Team, the Family and Community Engagement (FCE) Coordinator, in compliance with Federal, State and Municipal regulatory concerns, aligns the school and community resources to support the development of students in areas required to be successful in and out of school.

  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  •          Above average interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all individuals at all levels; and in one on one or in group settings
  •          Keen understanding of evidenced-based practices including but not limited to process / program evaluation
  •          Experienced in community health and safety promotion, community organizing, policy development and staff leadership
  •          Must contribute and work well with administrative team
