A team of students from Taos STEAM Academy has won a national competition by Verizon that will team them up with experts from MIT. The group created an app that it hopes can help bring down the suicide rate in New Mexico.

"See Something, Say Something" earned the high school students $20,000 from the Verizon Foundation for the STEAM Academy, tablets for each of the five students and a trip to the Technology Student Association Conference in Orlando, Florida, in June, according to a press release.
